Roborubrics: A Milestone in Educational Innovation
Important Notice: Roborubrics is no longer an active business, but its journey stands as a testament to what automation and AI can achieve in education.
Launched with a vision to simplify teachers' lives, Roborubrics became profitable just two months after its January 2024 launch and quickly recouped its initial investment. While the potential for growth was evident, it would have required significant investment in advertising and time-intensive efforts to educate teachers on AI—something many educators have been hesitant to adopt, despite its immense value.
"Roborubrics was an incredible learning experience," says founder Sam Anderson-Moxley. "When I started this journey in 2023 I didn't even know how to code. This project was a masterclass in system design."
Now, believing that AI's greatest potential in education lies in student-facing models that spark human creativity and ingenuity, Anderson-Moxley is shifting focus. After seven years in education and a master's in education with emphasis on equity and social justice, Sam is pursuing a new chapter in aerospace engineering.
